As the 65th Israeli Independence Day approaches, Maariv is proud to launch the J100 Magazine, an international project ranking the 100 most influential Jews in various fields
J100 Magazine
The magazine is part of a general initiative by Maariv Group to become more involved in society, as seen in the "Meoravim" Conference and the likes. Coverage of Jewish communities and life around the globe originates from the belief that the future of the Jewish nation and the State of Israel are inseparable.
Jews abroad are potential future Israeli citizens, thus the Israeli press is obliged to focus on matters concerning Jews outside of Israel, with the intention of connecting between Israelis and the rest of the Jewish people.
The magazine will rank people who identify themselves as Jews and hold key positions in various fields: culture, politics, economics, science, philosophy, arts, etc.
Additionally, the magazine will cover different organizations and initiatives which are crucial to the Jewish world.
A special committee including Israelis and Jews abroad, and representing the different viewpoints in the Jewish world, will choose the people to appear in the magazine.
J100 will be distributed in Israel and abroad and will be featured in different Jewish media channels. Several esteemed and well known institutions and organizations have already made contribution to this exciting and unprecedented project.
