The cages actualy furtilize the sea and helps the corals No evidance of any polution was found In samples of water taken only 50 meters from the cages! The closest corals are couple of KM away In the last 3 years the coral reef recovers although the the cages are still in place . The reason is probably the Intifada and the absent of tourists that dive in the reef. International commitee with the best experts in the world found no reason to take the cages away. The campaign against the cages is funded by tourist and real estate groups who want to take over this place for thier interests !
