The writer assessment, that Obama is a gambler by campaigning in all 50, states is totally wrong.  
He is not diluting his campaign by doing so, but rather strengthening it.
Historically Democrats , similar to labor in Israel, were trying to ''play it safe'' and not offend any potentional voters.
Obama is right to try campaigning in all 50 states and not being afraid to show presence.
I believe it will only help him in the future, and the assessment that McCain is more popular is totally wrong.
