So Justice Brandise was wrong. And not all democracies are the same. The U.S. it is representative republic. Brandise was liberal and socialistic in his hart just like 5 out of the 9 current Supreme Court Justices in the U.S. All damn liberals, and Dr. Hanin included, wants to protect the environment no matter what. In their view, since humans are the main destroyers of the environment, lets get rid of the humans altogether. Liberals must face the fact that people needs come first, and then make environmental considerations if there is a room for that. Each of these environmental organizations, headed by Dr. Hanin, becomes a bureaucracy that is not democratic from within, not elected by the people and one that NEEDS lots of money to support the nice salaried positions of their respective non-profit organizations. It is a good idea, by the way, to all unemployed people in Israel. Open a non-profit organization that protects the red rats (or fill in whatever you want to protect). Then solicit for donations from the public and funds from the government. Give yourself a nice salary. Then list your organization with Dr. Hanin. הגב לתגובה זו          ארצות הברית היא פלוטוקרטיה         סתם אחד,    10/06/05 10:28 אכן יש הרבה צורות של דמוקרטיה. בארצות הברית יש פלוטו-דמוקרטיה. כלומר, לבעלי ההון יש השפעה עצומה, הרבה מעבר לקול שלהם, על התהליך הפוליטי. אפשר אף להרחיק לכת ולהגיד שהשיטה הפוליטית בארצות הברית מושחתת ביסודה, משום שללא כסף אי אפשר להבחר, ובדרך כלל מי שיש לו יותר כסף נבחר. כמובן שאפשר גם להצביע על כך ש 50% מבעלי זכות הבחירה כלל אינם משתתפים. האם אלו סממנים של ''הדמוקרטיה הטובה ביותר''? תמהתני. כמובן, במדינות אחרות יש בעיות אחרות עם הדמוקרטיה שלהן. שום דבר לא מושלם. בענין הארגונים הסביבתיים הכותב מגלה את בורותו. הארגונים הסביבתיים המודרניים כלל אינם נגד בני אדם ואף לא נגד פיתוח. משום כך הומצא המונח פיתוח בר-קיימא. הרעיון הוא כן לפתח, אבל פיתוח שאפשר לקיימו בלי לגרום נזקים כאלו שבסופו של דבר גם בני האדם יפגעו מהם. מה רוצה הכותב? לאפשר למפעלים לזהם את האוויר והמיים בלי הגבלות? כך שאנשים ישתו מיים מורעלים וינשמו אוויר מורעל? או, שבהשקעה של יותר כסף, המפעלים לא יגרמו לזיהום שיפגע בבני אדם. נכון, זה עולה כסף, אבל זה חוסך חיים. מי כאן דואג יותר לבני האדם? הגב לתגובה זו 1.  כל- הכבוד     ערן,  באר-שבע,    06/06/05 21:49 טוב שיש אנשים כמו דב חנין. חזק ואמץ. הגב לתגובה זו
